Michelle Alane Carmichael

Michelle Carmichael

Hello, and WELCOME to my webpage! I'd like to introduce myself for those of you who don't know me (for those who do, I'll try to be as real as I can!) :-). My name is Michelle Alane Carmichael. I am a 37 year old female, with one son, Daniel. (Currently age: 10)

I love to draw people, faces, bodies, poses, anything and everything in the human form. I guess you could say, "It's a passion."

I have been drawing for YEARS! For as long as I can remember. I have memories of being 5 and sitting in my bedroom and drawing my family in stick people form.

*HINT*: For those of you who think all you can draw is stick people... It's where it all began for me! If you want to draw as good as you see others... follow the adage, "practice makes perfect". It can only help! :-)

Back to my intro: I remember my best friend was my paper and markers. Nearly every event I experienced, or dream I held, or wish I coveted, was drawn out.

As I got older my art shifted from subject to subject and I had (at one time) a HUGE collection of sketches and drawings I had done while in high school.

I am afraid to say, they have all been lost. :-(

But an artist refuses to stop artistically and so it is we have ended up here, on my webpage of drawings. My place to keep all my latest work! :-)

Each picture (when opened) will have a story as to its reason for existance. I like to explain my reasons for this picture or that pose. Or even explain what inspired the thought to draw it in the first place.

I draw from photos mostly, and some of the magazine pictures I've chosen may seem slightly risque. I assure you, I have a reason to want to capture THAT picture in graphite. So, please don't be offended by my art.

You're welcome to comment on any page, if you feel you need to, or want to.

I also want to acknowledge an up-and-comming artist I know personally. His name is Daniel. I have allowed for my son's artistic creativity to be seen as well. It will be good to see his artistic talent grow as he does. :-)

Again, thank you for visiting my page and don't forget to comment. The comment section is currently being worked on. In the mean time email any comments and they will be added to the comments.

Visit often, as artists are always creating something new! :-)

PS- I'd like to thank my future hubby Craig Williamson for being so generous and forthcoming in allowing my son and I to use some of his web space to allow all you to see our talents. Thank you sweetheart! You're the best!

                Love Michelle XOXO
